Click for a full size version of the image Metropolitan Poster

The "Metropolitan" poster compares the Toronto urban region with other regions in Canada, Australia, the United States, and Europe with respect to form, density and transportation networks.  The project was conceived by Andre Sorensen and Paul Hess of the University of Toronto's Department of Geography and Programme in Planning to stimumlate interest in the relationships between these characteristics and their effect on urban quality.  The research, funded by Neptis, was developed by Sorensen and Hess in collaboration with the Department of Geography's Cartography Office and the Neptis Foundation.  The poster has been distributed widely to high schools in the Toronto region.

A copy of the poster is available for $10.00 (plus shipping & handling charges).
